HVDC Submarine Cable
A High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) Submarine Cable is a specialized subsea transmission line designed to carry very high-capacity electricity (±150kV up to ±525kV and above) over long distances under oceans, seas, and rivers. Unlike HVAC systems, HVDC technology enables ultra-efficient, low-loss power transfer over hundreds or even thousands of kilometers, making it essential for intercontinental connections and offshore renewable integration.
